PTK in Brief
The Council for Negotiation and Co-operation (PTK) was formerly known as the Federation of Salaried Employees in Industry and Services. PTK is a joint organization of 26 affiliated unions, representing 700 000 salaried employees in the private sector. All of its tasks come from its affiliates.
PTK carries on its activities – in accordance with its statutes – through an assembly, an administrative council, an executive committee, a chief negotiators’ group and negotiation groups. To assist them these bodies can call on the services of a secretariat under the direction of the chief administrative officer.
